Skin-loving Organic Ingredients
NEW! From Bronzo Sensuale:
ORGANIC Sun Care and Skin Care ingredients. Once again, Bronzo Sensuale has come up with a great idea to improve sun care and skin care, offering certified ORGANIC ingredients.

Organic Certification for natural ingredients confirms that the plant crops (used for our ingredients) follow the following USDA standards:
1. Avoidance of most synthetic chemical inputs (e.g. fertilizer, pesticides, antibiotics, food additives, etc), genetically modified organisms, irradiation, and the use of sewage sludge.
2. Use of farmland that has been free from chemicals for a number of years; keeping detailed written production and sales records; maintaining strict physical separation of organic products from non-certified products; undergoing periodic on-site inspections.
Most sun care and skin care products contain chemicals that can be absorbed and carry impurities into your blood. Destructive pesticide residues often enter your bloodstream or remain in your skin for long periods of time.
You’re wisely protecting your skin from harmful rays of the sun, why not protect your skin from harmful chemicals at the same time? Choose Bronzo Sensuale, after all, anything else is just plain unnatural!

Certified Organic and natural ingredients in our Oils:

Organic Soybean Oil is loaded with anti-oxidants that promote skin health and help to heal the damage that is done to skin by pollution and by sun exposure. Anti-oxidants contained in Soybean Oil such as Vitamin E and Vitamin B complex are key to helping the radiance and the natural beauty of skin. Vitamin E and Vitamin B complex are also instrumental in helping to control and to prevent the development and the appearance of wrinkles. In addition, Soybean Oil will help fix uneven skin and will create more even skin tone, thereby improving the texture of skin delivering a more glowing and brighter skin.

Organic Sunflower Oil is brimming with vitamins C, D, and E. It retains moisture in the skin so well that it may also provide a protective barrier that resists infection in pre-term infants. Studies using Sunflower Oil have been conducted involving low birth weight pre-term infants that are often susceptible to infection due to their underdeveloped skin. The study determined that infants receiving a daily skin treatment of sunflower oil were 41% less likely to develop infections in hospital.

Organic Aloe Barbadensis Gel Extract Recent studies have shown that aloe vera gel facilitates the healing of damaged skin tissue. It can decrease the redness and swelling associated with a burn. The gel also prevents skin damage resulting from exposure to ultraviolet radiation associated with direct sunlight.

Organic Coconut Oil contains predominantly medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA) or medium-chain triglycerides (MCT). MCFAs provide your skin with antimicrobial agents that ward off infection and disease, while making connective tissues stronger for that much desired softness and elasticity. MCFAs also has superb antioxidant activities that neutralize free radicals and slow down aging.

Organic Carrot Oil provides extraordinary skin protection and conditioning benefits derived from the high quantities of oil soluble carotenoids that it contains. Carotenoids are a class of easily assimilated antioxidants. Antioxidants protect human cells from harmful free-radical attack. Free-radicals are stray oxygen molecules that attack healthy cell walls and react with polyunsaturated fats to create a chain reaction of unlimited free-radical regeneration. Free-radicals are produced by a wide range of environmental pollutants, including UVR. If left unchecked by antioxidants, free-radicals damage both the structure and function of cell membranes, resulting in premature aging, cancer and an array of degenerative diseases.

Kukuinut Oil a natural plant extract native to Hawaii and has been used by Hawaiians for centuries to protect and nourish skin which was exposed to the effects of sun, wind and salt water. They found that regular use softened and nourished dry skin and generally improved the complexion.

Pecan Oil is a light yet rich, nutrient-rich oil, high in oleic acid that is ideal for maturing or dry skin.

Walnut Oil major ingredients include Omega-3 fatty acids that are very easily absorbed by the skin. It contains slight acidic properties that kills off unwanted skin bacteria and is known as a regenerative oil , particularly effective on more mature skin.

Macadamia Nut Oil effective for all skin types and contains the highest level of palmitoleic acid of any plant oil.  This is found in young human sebum, but the level dramatically drops in mature skin. Penetrates the skin very quickly and tones aged or dry skin. Skin-softening Macadamia's fatty acids are helpful in maintaining the skin's critical water barrier functions.

Jojoba Oil is obtained from the crushed bean of the jojoba shrub. Native Americans have used jojoba for hundreds of years for treating sores, cuts, bruises, and burns; as a skin conditioner, for soothing windburn and sunburn. When sebum production decreases due to age, pollutants, or environmental stresses, jojoba oil can replicate sebum oil.

Cocoa Butter Recent research indicates that massaging the skin with cocoa butter may help relieve stress, boost the immune system, and even prevent cancer. This is because cocoa butter, like chocolate, contains a lot of CMP.

Primrose Oil helps in the rejuvenating process of your skin, in producing anti aging affect for your skin and gradually reduces the wrinkles and fine lines on your skin. While improving firmness and better elasticity, it also helps your body in producing required new skin cells, promoting good coloration and hydrating dry skin.

B-Carotene the GOOD Vitamin A : UVA exposure causes premature aging by an increase of oxidative stress in skin. In a study using human skin cells, the researchers found that beta-carotene suppressed UVA-induction of  enzymes which are key to degradation of the extracellular matrix during premature skin aging.  Scientists showed that UVA rapidly destroys beta-carotene in the cells, indicating that the carotenoid has to be replenished after sun light exposure. *ALERT!  We have been using Botanical Beta Carotene Vitamin A for nearly two decades. Recent articles about the dangers of Vitamin A, have caused some alarm and much confusion. The lab results published refer solely to Retinyl Palmitate Vitamin A, a CHEMICAL COMPOUND and its CHEMICAL REACTIONS. There are NO dangers with Beta Carotene, actually, quite the opposite.

Lecithin is a fatlike substance called a phospholipid. It is needed by every cell in the body and is a key building block of cell membranes; without it, they would harden. Lecithin protects cells from oxidation and has magnificent moisturizing properties. The phospholipids naturally present in lecithin are able to attract water from the air, and in doing so, increase hydration. This makes it excellent for mature, dry, or overworked skin. It also has the unique ability to deeply penetrate the skin, and carry substances directly to the cells and the bloodstream. Combined with other natural and healing ingredients Lecithin would actually bring those beneficial properties to the cellular level.

Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) Researchers have concluded that ozone pollution rapidly pares away Vitamin E from the thin surface layer skin, called the "stratum corneum." The stratum corneum's role is to help prevent pollutants and other chemicals from entering the body. With a reduction in the strength of this barrier, free radicals gain an easy porthole into the body. The researchers also concluded that the depletion of vitamin E could expose important skin fat molecules to pollution. The destruction of these `lipids,' regulators of matter streaming into and out of the skin, could aggravate skin ailments. Oxidation, or the aging process of the skin, occurs primarily because UV light stimulates the production of free radicals. In its own defense, the body manufactures natural antioxidants. However, aging and sun exposure make the body's sustained fight against UV rays more and more difficult. As a result, the free-radical damage can lead not only to older-looking skin, but also to potential skin cancer. Studies suggest that topical vitamin E application sent the skin extra vitamin E protection reducing skin damage caused by UV rays. Because antioxidants absorb radiation not neutralized by sunscreens, vitamin E increases their protection and lessens the damaging effects of solar UV radiation. Vitamin E does more than protect skin from the sun. Studies show topical vitamin E improves skin moisture by offsetting dryness caused by aging and environmental factors.

Rice Peptides: Peptides are small fragments of proteins, the key building blocks of most living tissues. These proteins stimulate human skin as well as retard the aging process,  Studies have shown that Peptides will reduce surface wrinkles by inhibiting muscle relaxation and combating the sagging of skin by rebuilding collagen.

Allantoin is derived from botanical extracts of the comfrey plant, a moisturizing and keratolytic effect, increasing the water content of the extracellular matrix and enhancing the desquamation of upper layers of dead skin cells, increasing the smoothness of the skin; promoting cell proliferation and skin protection.

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) Ultraviolet radiation can generate oxygen free radicals that cause aging of the skin. Vitamin C can act as a first defense against some of these radicals .Collagen is a key component of most tissues. Vitamin C works as an essential factor for the normal formation,, maintenance and structural stability of collagen.

Ergocalciferol (Vitamin D) Has been found to help prevent the inflammatory effects of UVB irradiation.

Tocopherol Acetate (Vitamin E) Researchers have concluded that ozone pollution rapidly pares away vitamin E from the thin surface layer skin, called the "stratum corneum." Organic Fragrance: A delightful stress-relieving aromatherapy fragrance of French Lavender, Indian Mint, Asian Geranium, and Florida Lemon and Orange.

NO PABA: When originally introduced as a sunscreen, although effective, was highly irritating to the skin. It also stained clothing.

NO PARABENS: Early in the 1900’s Parabens started being used as FDA approved anti-bacterial preservatives. Over the last decade however, there have been reports that many Parabens attach to the estrogen receptor and lead to estrogen-like reactions on laboratory animals, not when digested, but when applied to the skin. Found inside some human tumors, leads scientists to believe that this is caused by Parabens being absorbed through the skin. Remember your skin, your largest organ, absorbs whatever ingredients you apply. Be sure to re-check the ingredients in your current face creams, body lotions, makeup, hair products, and tanning products for this potentially dangerous preservative.

NO BENZOPHENONE: Widely used in many detergents, cleaners, sunscreens, and germ-killing products for over 40 years. Recent studies have shown connections to severe food allergies such as peanuts.

NO MINERAL OIL: There is NO mineral oil in BRONZO SENSUALE. Mineral oil, a petroleum derivative, is too thick to penetrate deep into the skin, it clogs and suffocates the pores, remains greasy, and prevents the sunscreens and other ingredients from helping more than just the surface layers of the skin. Many baby oils and lotions are made with mineral oil as well. Some sunbathers still prefer the feeling of mineral oil, and for those people we can refer to the following brands:

Banana Boat, Ban de Soleil, Coppertone, Hawiian Tropic, NoAD, Walgreens brand, and You Glow Girl to name a few.
